Some multi-branch agents use estate agency software to prepare property particulars and handle enquiries. This can require a direct link from the software to the website via a data transfer or ‘feed’. Agents without agency software may use a combination of word processors, spreadsheets and a database, to manage properties, vendors and applicants. In this case, a website with a good system for updating properties helps the agent to add, edit, and remove properties as needed. Weblinks provide a property listing service which can take direct feeds, or allow changes to be made via a simple login facility.
